Vote for Kenneth Holmes

Ken Holmes, who has served the county for 36 years as an investigator and administrator, said in a statement issued by his campaign aide, Marc O’Hara, that he is seeking election to the consolidated post of sheriff-coroner because “Marin deserves a public servant of national reputation, a leader whose professional commitment to running our sheriff’s-coroner office is absolutely unquestioned.”

Finally, I no longer have to go around feeling slightly insane . . . at least one other person “speaks my language,” and that would be Michael Moore. Oddly, during the week Moore’s movie hit theaters, I received an anonymous automated call that said simply: “Don’t kill capitalilsm.” No place to return a call, no request for donations, just “Don’t kill capitalism.”
