Finally, I no longer have to go around feeling slightly insane . . . at least one other person “speaks my language,” and that would be Michael Moore. Oddly, during the week Moore’s movie hit theaters, I received an anonymous automated call that said simply: “Don’t kill capitalilsm.” No place to return a call, no request for donations, just “Don’t kill capitalism.”

Who knew. A friend just asked how I am and I realized that I’m frightened. I have never never never been frightened, even through some quite dramatic and frightening experiences.

From the Santa Rosa Press Democrat: “James Madison peers into the window of the empty Santa Rosa home, quickly calculating numbers in his head . . . a week earlier, the owner lost the home, unable to pay the mortgage any longer.”

So many well-qualified professionals are now out of work that it seems this information might be helpful in the event your home needs saving.

There is an extraordinary story in America today, and media, politicians, etc., have decided that it’s either overwhelming or that there actually is help somewhere, or claim they can help, but don’t.

Before buying ANYTHING on line, read the small print. Even the most seemingly innocuous product has buried caveats that could destroy your budget and there are many many desperate people out there.

Do you know what’s on every pristine beach in the world, on the street of every city, on the floor of every centuries-old world history site and in the stomachs of birds, turtles, the fish we eat, leeching into our water . . .

Why not use a model that works when distributing $$$? In effect, taxpayers have been increasing the “allowance” of misguided children in the form of corporate executives. That is a poor model. What about an accountability system like this . . .
