Finally, I no longer have to go around feeling slightly insane . . . at least one other person “speaks my language,” and that would be Michael Moore. Oddly, during the week Moore’s movie hit theaters, I received an anonymous automated call that said simply: “Don’t kill capitalilsm.” No place to return a call, no request for donations, just “Don’t kill capitalism.”

Lots in the news re health care and who pays. I think it depends, in part, on individual responsibility. The tobacco industry should underwrite smokers’ health issues by 100%.

Who knew. A friend just asked how I am and I realized that I’m frightened. I have never never never been frightened, even through some quite dramatic and frightening experiences.

Too many people. Too much trash. Where are dead hybrid car batteries going to go? We are looking at something over 6 MILLION CUBIC YARDS of rubbish.

The effectiveness of a fundraising campaign is enchanced by photos of people in need and a story of WHY they need your help . . . people who did not do anything to deserve the circumstances they are in.

There is an extraordinary story in America today, and media, politicians, etc., have decided that it’s either overwhelming or that there actually is help somewhere, or claim they can help, but don’t.
